Irritated Skin because of too many products?

We all experience a skin breakout from time to time but sometimes you just don’t know what it is. Just as we like to detox to reset our bodies, you can consider reducing your product to give your skin a break. Stick to your essentials to repair your skin barrier and avoid any ‘stressors’.
What products should I avoid?
Chemical exfoliators (AHA and BHA for example), retinoids, and Vitamin C. Any cleanser that makes your skin feel dry or toners with alcohol should be avoided.
What should my skincare routine look like?
We want to restore and repair the skin barrier since (easily said) it functions as our weapon against anything that irritates our skin.
The keyword is hydration. Products like gentle cleansers or hydrating, calming moisturizers can be applied. Look for ingredients such as B3, seabuckthorn, rosehip oil, chamomile and ceramides.
So it is possible to de-stress your skin!
